Introduction
You must decide to kill Playboy X or Dwayne Forge, although killing Playboy X seems to go more along with the storyline.
Overview
Niko receives a call from Playboy telling you to kill Dwayne. Niko says he will think about it. Later on in the game you will get a call from Dwayne telling you to kill Playboy. You now get the choice to kill Playboy or Dwayne. When you feel you've thought about it enough, call Playboy and a red "X" and "D" will appear on the map.
Dwayne
If you decide to kill Dwayne you head over to his building. Go to the second floor and enter his apartment. A weak guard with a baseball bat will pounce on you. If you have low health, it might be better to shoot him than beat him up. Once he's dead, Dwayne is around the corner.
To kill Dwayne, you have two options. You can kill him with one of the speical Executions, or do it the old fashioned way. At this point, Dwayne is just like a pedestrian out on the streets.
Playboy X
If you decide to kill Playboy you head to his apartment. A cutscene will start when Niko says he decides to kill Playboy instead of Dwayne. You will end up behind some cover. Shoot as many guards as you can then get out of cover and kill the rest. Go onto the roof and chase Playboy down to street level. Some of his crew will get into a Patriot and try to gun you down. Shoot the car a bit to scare off the goons and corner Playboy X in an alleyway. He will drop his jammed pistol.
You have two similar options: kill Playboy with free-aim or a melee weapon or execute him with a pistol. If you decide to execute him, target his head with a pistol and wait until the red ring blinks on the reticule. Push the Fire button and you will see a cinematic scene of Niko Bellic shooting a bullet under Playboy's jaw and killing him as the bullet exits through the top of his head.
There is a much easier alternative. While you are in cover in Playboy's apartment, switch to your rocket launcher (if you somehow managed to get one) and fire it at the bottom half of the open door that Playboy ran out of. Playboy will most likely die right then and there - re-aim and shoot again if that's not the case. The mission will pass; escape the apartment or just jump off the side and commit suicide.
Rewards
- If you kill Dwayne you'll get $25,000. Playboy will say he never wants to see you again because you killed his mentor.
- If you kill Playboy you'll get Playboy X's Penthouse, Claude's Outfit from GTA III (only available in Playboy X's Penthouse) and Dwayne becomes a friend (after you respond positively to an e-mail he will send). Dwayne's special ability is to send two gangsters to help you in a gunfight.
