Acceleration and speed are quite impressive, as are handling and braking. The small engine (likely only a 4-cylinder, but sounds like a V6 in [[GTA: Vice City]] and a V8 in [[GTA: San Andreas]]!) easily propels the light chassis, even with the paltry torque it delivers to the front-wheel drivetrain. The car's small size and tight handling make it highly stable and generally immune to flipping. However, this means the Blista Compact is also highly susceptible to intense damage from even the smallest vehicles at high enough speeds, and from heavy gunfire as well.

Overview

The Blista Compact is a 2 door hatchback available in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and Grand Theft Auto IV. It is easy to find almost anywhere in Vice City or San Andreas, and is generally considered to be a satisfactory car. It is highly useful for quick getaways and general evasive purposes. A people mover is made by the same company, but is only found in Liberty City; strangely there are no Blista Compacts there, so you never see the two vehicles at the same time.

Design

Like its design influence, the Honda CRX, the Blista Compact sports a fastback design and a very small curb weight. In fact, the Blista Compact is easily the smallest (and lightest) passenger car in Vice City and San Andreas, if not GTA IV as well.
