A Caddy from GTA San Andreas

The Caddy is a vehicl that first appeard in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and is also available on the prequel Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories and also in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. They are naturally found at the golfing areas in both Vice City and State of San Andreas. They are slow vehicles, and are very light meaning that they can flip over VERY easily and take damage quickly. Although it can be rolled, it is very rare to end up in any position apart from it's wheels.

Caution must be used when driving it on a road that has other high speed vehicles on it. While the car can’t end up on it's roof, it can however end up immobilized with the front of the golf cart in the air. It is not an ideal getaway car at all, and stealing it from golfers will result in you being dragged out of the cart and beaten with golf clubs. Since it has no doors, if you have a wanted level you will be instantly busted if a police officer is nearby.

The Caddy is the official gang car of the Leaf Link Golfers although they are usually only ever seen driving the caddy in the Golf Course though it may occasionally be seen driving on the road between the golf course by a golfer.

Entering a Caddy automatically equips the player with a golf club as a melee weapon, providing the melee space is not already occupied. The golf club can subsequently be used to destroy people or vehicles in the normal way.

Locations

Vice City

  • Driven erratically around the Leaf Links golf course by golfers.
  • Parked in bushes in Ocean Beach near the lighthouse, later in the game.
