The district houses the [[Callahan Bridge]], which is completed sometime between [[1998]] and [[2001]] and then repaired in 2001. The district appears as the base for a number of mission. In [[Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories]], [[Toni Cipriani]] photographs [[Giovanni Casa]] in [[Snappy Dresser]] and then collects money from the Leone Family warehouse in [[The Trouble With Triads]]. In GTA III, [[Claude]] collects a [[Manana|vehicle]] with a [[Forelli Family]] gang member in the boot in [[Dead Skunk in the Trunk]] and destroys the Triad processing plant in [[Blow Fish]]. He and [[Maria Latore]] also flee Portland Island from the district, heading  to [[Staunton Island]], in [[Last Requests]].


The [[Callahan Bridge]] was constructed in 1998, in the events of [[GTA: Liberty City Stories]]. The bridge isn't finished yet when you'll start the game, as the bridge's endpoints are still disconnected to each other. The bridge is nearly finished on the mission [[Driving Mr. Leone]], where you need to escape [[Salvatore Leone]]from the police by using the bridge's ramp to cross from [[Portland Island]] to [[Staunton Island]]. One of the ramps have a hidden package.

During the happenings of [[GTA III]], which is set three years after Liberty City Stories, the bridge was heavily damaged due to a planted bomb that was meant to ambush a police convoy. The bridge was not available to traffic, until renovation began after the end of the storyline missions of the game.

A breakwater is found near the bridge pillar on the exit of the long avenue that extends from [[Hepburn Heights]] to Callahan Point. Also, a doughnut store is found there. Like the NYPD police is portrayed, a police car is always found park on the doughnut store.
