In a Grand Theft Auto game, attaining 100% completion involves numerous tasks, though there are usually some things that are not required for 100% completion.

Below are explanations of what is required in each game to achieve 100% completion:

GTA III

To attain 100% completion in GTA III, the player must accomplish all of the following:

Although, unlike later GTA games, there are no special rewards for obtaining 100% completion, in the proccess the player will unlock pickups for health, body armor, adrenaline and each of the games weapons at their safehouses, as well as six police bribes at the same locations.

GTA Vice City

To attain 100% completion in GTA Vice City, the player must accomplish all of the following:

  • Finish all missions
  • Collect all 100 hidden packages
  • Finish all side missions (Taxi, Police, Ambulance, etc)
  • Get a high score at the shooting range
  • Win all Sunshine Autos 6 raceing missions
  • Finish all 3 car missions at Hyman Memorial Stadium
  • Finish all 3 Top Fun missions
  • Complete the 4 seaplane missions
  • Do the dirt track missions
  • Purchase all 8 safehouses
  • Get all 50 Uniqe Stunt jump

Vice City was the first Grand Theft Auto game to offer unique rewards for obtaining 100% completion. These included:

  • 200% health and 200% armor
  • Infinite ammunition for any weapon the player possesses
  • Double vehicle strength for any vehicle Tommy Vercetti drives
  • The ability to recruit 3 bodyguards from the Vercetti Estate
  • The Frankie outfit

GTA San Andreas

To attain 100% completion in GTA San Andreas, the player must accomplish all of the following: 100% Completion in GTA San Andreas

The rewards for obtaining 100% completion included:

  • $1,000,000
  • Infinite ammunition for any weapon the player possesses
  • Double vehicle strength for any vehicle CJ drives
  • A Hydra spawns on the roof of Sweet's house
  • A Rhino spawns near the bridge in Grove Street

GTA Liberty City Stories

To attain 100% completion in GTA Liberty City Stories, the player must accomplish all of the following:

  • Finish all of the missions and side-missions (all covered in the Missions section)
  • Finish all races with gold medals (all covered in the Missions section)
  • Collect all 100 Hidden Packages (all covered in the Hidden Packages section)
  • Complete all 20 Rampages (all covered in the Rampages section)
  • Complete all 26 Unique Stunt Jumps (all covered in the Unique Stunt Jumps section)


GTA Vice City Stories
