Feltzer

The Feltzer is a car that is available for use in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto IV. In both games it is a two-door car with a high top speed, each based on different models of Mercedes-Benz two-door coupes.

In GTA: San Andreas, the Feltzer is based on the real-life Mercedes-Benz R107 that was produced from 1971-1989, specifically the 380SL cabriolet. It can be used as a lowrider with the appropriate modifications. It has a good top speed, but its handling is rather unsatisfactory as its high speed and light weight act against it; also it has rather slow acceleration. It can be found in San Fierro and sometimes Las Venturas. It is also a target vehicle in the first Import/Export mission at the San Fierro docks.

GTA IV

In GTA IV, the Benefactor Feltzer is similar to a second generation Mercedes-Benz SLK, except the wheel arches are significantly wider, giving the car a wider appearance, more similar to the AMG SL. There are two versions of the Feltzer convertible in GTA IV, one with a folding hardtop, like the real life SL/SLK, one with a softtop, and one with the roof down. There is also a further "variation on variation" of the Feltzer, with some featuring a Benefactor-badgeless body and sport mesh grille, while others feature a standard three-bar grille with manufacturer badges. Unlike the San Andreas version, the GTA IV Feltzer is excellent in acceleration and top speed thanks to a 3.8L Supercharged V8 engine, according to the website Autoeroticar.com. The real life SLK has a range of engine types, from a 1.8L supercharged L4 to a 5.5L V8.[1]

A Pink Feltzer is obtainable after the mission I'll Take Her where you kidnap Gracie Ancelotti in her Feltzer. It is one of few cars that have a custom paint job.

It is also one of the cars requested by Brucie Kibbutz for his Exotic Exports missions. After collecting all thirty cars for Stevie he agrees to purchase cars from Niko Bellic, with the Feltzer fetching $3,000.
