The Nightstick is a melee weapon assigned to each cop in the GTA III era since Grand Theft Auto: Vice City as a standard melee weapon. Although not as powerful as the Baseball Bat, it has an advantage of being a single-handed weapon and thus a quicker running speed. It cannot be purchased from hardware stores or Ammu-Nation, so it is only obtainable from killing a cop or finding it at a spawning point.
