The Remington is a two-door lowrider featured in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Description
Design
The Remington is depicted as a 1970s two-door coupe, suggestively modified to appear like a lowrider; accordingly, certain Remington's may be available with hydraulics. The Remington is similar to a 1977 or 1978 Lincoln Continental Town coupe (as identified by the grille and chrome), but the back has a more sinister look and it doesn't have hidden headlamps.
Performance
Performance wise, the vehicle may be described as average. With a rear wheel drive, very low ground clearance and moderately powerful engine, the Remington is susceptible to tailspins when cornering and is more suited for urban travel; however, the vehicle may reach average-to-good top speed.
A flame-proof Remington can be found during the mission "High Stakes, Low Rider" for Cesar Vialpando.
Locations
- Unity Station, Little Mexico, Los Santos (only when wanted for export)
Modifications
As a lowrider, Remingtons may be modified further at Loco Low Co. in Willowfield, Los Santos. The customizations feature chrome skull-adorned bumpers to go along with the sinister look.
