The Schoolbus is a vehicle that was intended to be driven by the player in Grand Theft Auto III, however, it was dropped in later development for an unknown reason. It was likely removed in attempt to avoid controversy over killing kids in the game - a mission for Darkel required the player to blow up a school using a 'rigged' Schoolbus. The Schoolbus can be seen in BETA screenshots. The vehicle does appear in the finished version of GTA III, but only as a rusted wreck (for example, near 8-Ball Autos in Harwood, Portland Island). The wrecked schoolbus can be seen again in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City inside the Hyman Memorial Stadium during Dirtring trial.
