Small Town Bank is one of the four missions unlocked by the mission First Date in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas where Carl Johnson first meets Catalina.

Catalina confronting Carl Johnson.

Carl and Catalina are planning on robbing the Palomino Creek Bank. They get in to a vehicle and head off to their destination. Once They arrive, carl Johnson is given a Pump Action Shotgun, and his job is to make sure none of the employees put there hands down, otherwise they will set the alarm off. Unfortunately, either carl shoots the employees, and sets the alarm off, or one of the employees put their hands down and the alarm goes off. Catalina is furious, then a cutscene shows in which two cops leave the Donut shop, and drive to the banks, in which they and a few cops surround the building.

With the police surrounding the building CJ and Catalina have no time, Carl must use his shotgun and destroy the ATM machine and retrive the money. once the three machines are destroyed and the money is collected, catalina breaks the door down, and her and carl, shoot every cop down the alley way. once at the end of the alleyway two cops come in on motorcycles, and carl johnson kills them.

The next objective is to follow Catalina on the bike, while two other cops pursue her, after a long chase, catalina eventually gets surrounded by the police, your job is to pick her up and take her home, then the mission is passed.

The reward for successfully completing this mission is $10,000.

Glitch

  • When Catalina surrounded by the police, the glitch will happen. All pedestrians, police, and cars will disappear, leaving whole San Andreas as a Ghost Country. This glitch can be useful to explore to the San Fierro and Las Venturas without police attention. The only way to get out of this glitch is simply take Catalina home and finish the mission.
