Tagging Up Turf is a mission that introduces gang tags in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and the third mission in the game.
Mission
Carl Johnson is now back on the set and representing Grove Street Families again. Sweet and Big Smoke are playing basketball as he arrives and after a brief talk, Sweet hands him a Spray Can to spray over enemy gang tags around Los Santos. After finishing playing basketball, Sweet and Carl enter their Greenwood and drive over to a Ballas gang tag in Idlewood by Grove Street's turf. Sweet sprays over it and Carl proceeds and sprays over two other tags nearby before entering Sweet's car and driving towards East Los Santos which is enemy territory.
Carl is left alone and he sprays the Grove Street gang tag over three more Ballas tags before Sweet returns with his Greenwood precisely as Carl finishes his work. The two drive back to Ganton and split up.
Reward
Completing this mission earns the player increased respect, $200 and a spray can always spawns by the bedroom inside the Johnson House.
