I'm confused, and it looks like a few other people are too. Whats the deal with you just completely reverting perfectly fine edits and picture additions? And you don't even give a reason why? ALWAYS PUT A SUMMERY. So then people can understand WHY you're doing something. Just because you're an Administrator shouldn't mean you don't have to follow any of the rules. Actually, it is precisely your no-nonsense attitude and attention-to-detail that I like. I don't pick staff that'll just agree with whatever I say, I pick staff who have good ideas of their own, and staff that will work together to make this wiki awesome. I know we disagree on a number of points, but it's not that I think your ideas are wrong/bad/stupid (you wouldn't be staff if I thought that!!), it's just we often have to choose one way of working - sometimes we'll use your ideas, sometimes we'll use others. To be honest, I personally consider you in charge of images, simply because you have much more experience, knowledge and input into images than anyone else here. I agree with your comments to AJ - images should be useful, not there just for the sake of it. As you know, my preference is for a general/helpful/descriptive/clear image in the top-right (on virtually every page), then specific, targeted images throughout articles and in galleries. This is to ensure we cater for the 3 main reasons someone would read an article: just randomly browsing (simple image helps); actively interested in the topic (simple overview, detail later); or looking up specific information (accurate detail is important). I know you often champion the accuracy and detail side of things, which is great, but I need to make sure we remember the casual visitors we have too. As you say - just having multiple images of the same character from different angles is not useful for anyone. As for edit summaries, I enabled them by default to encourage editors to think about and explain their edits, particularly where they are not-obvious or controversial. More experienced/trusted users can get away with not leaving a summary because there's no controversy or confusion. I can see you've disabled it in your preferences, which is fine. I know you always have the article's best interests at heart in all your edits, so there's never going to be a problem.
