Thanks for the concern, but I've found that I'm really active on most wikipedias when they are relevant. Like, I was here all the time when I was going through Vice City, 3, and San Andreas, but since I'm done... I haven't checked back too often. Nor do I really care about GTA 5, so I still check back occasionally, but I don't have much more to add everyday. --Tommy-Vercetti (talk) 01:01, 28 December 2011 (UTC)

Block
The thing that makes this wiki different from Wikia, Wikipedia and all the others is that everything is up for discussion. I told you our current position/policy (which is at Grand Theft Wiki: Languages), and you have the right and the opportunity to question it, start a discussion, and make suggestions for changing it. Instead, you chose to make personal attacks, which of course have earned you a block. But because you have a good history of edits, I've made it only a 2-week block.
My problem was not using US English, nor even the occasional changing of spellings (I've never really stopped people from doing it), but I don't like the idea of people deliberately going around changing every single word just to be how they like it, as if the other English dialect isn't good enough. If it was a genuine mistake (thinking we used US English), fair enough. If you thought we should use US English exclusively, start a discussion. But your attitude of 'retard british spellings' did not sound like it was in the interests of this wiki, instead it was seeming like an attack on those who used British spellings.
You may personally not see the point of British spellings, but they are not 'idiotic' or 'retard'. They existed long before US English changed them, and they're used by a lot more people (worldwide) than the US versions. I don't have a problem with you preferring one set of spellings, I don't even have a problem with you using them on this wiki, but we do have a compromise in place, and I'd ask you to respect that.
I'm going to cut you some slack here. Come back in two weeks, and we can forget this whole thing. If you want to discuss which spellings we used, great, I'm completely in favour of that, and we'll all come to some agreement or compromise. But if you just want to argue, or ignore everyone on here who thinks slightly differently, then don't bother. Your choice. :All this fuss over a disagreement about spellings? Seems a little melodramatic. We've been completely reasonable, but if that's not good enough, you're free to leave. gboyers talk 00:28, 7 February 2012 (UTC)
