Mrs. Maybell enjoys wearing black as she frequent attends the funerals of her deceased husbands. Bone County is full of bones, of course, as well as dry sand. On ''[[Gardening with Maurice]]'', a woman from Bone County asked the host why she can't grow flowers, and Maurice replied "Get out of the desert, you idiot."
