In October 2011, Rockstar Games announced a 10th Anniversary Edition of Grand Theft Auto III would be released for mobile phones and tablets, including the iPad, iPhone and a selection of Android devices. The game is due to be released later in fall 2011, and support for further devices may be announced. However the only Apple devices that will support the game will be models with the dual core A5 Chip, the only models so far that have this chip are the iPad 2 and the iPhone 4S, it will not be backwards compatible to the original iPad, earlier iPhones or and iPod Touch's. | |||
