The [[French Secret Service]] has discovered that Juan Cortez sent [[Pierre La Ponce|the courier]] (in [[Mall Shootout]]) to steal the missile technology guidance chips, and now they want them back. Cortez, however, wants to keep them and so is escaping Vice City on his yacht. He asks Tommy for assistance. The boat leaves the dock, with French secret servicemen firing from the docks and four boats following the yacht. Tommy fights them off and then more gunmen on [[Dinghy|Dinghies]]. The yacht reaches a bridge, which is blocked by more boats. More servicemen are also climbing on board, but Tommy again manages to defeat them. The French then attack with two [[Maverick]] helicopters and then a [[Hunter]], with Tommy destroying all three. When in the open sea, Cortez asks Tommy to keep an eye on [[Mercedes Cortez|Mercedes]] and gives Tommy a [[Speeder|speedboat]] to return to Vice City.

After getting the briefing from Cortez, the yacht will take off. Four boats of FBI men will follow you, blow them up or kill the gunmen and drivers. When they're done with some more guys in [[Dinghy]]s will appear, finish them too. Eventually you will reach a blockade, here, at least four more [[Speeder]]s will come after the yacht, blow up the boats before the gunmen climb onto the yacht, two more guys in Dinghies will appear as well, but those won’t climb onto the yacht so don’t mind about them, yet.


In the next strike, they will come at you in [[Maverick]] helicopters. Gun down the choppers before they reach the yacht, or else they choppers will drop gunmen on the deck. After about the third chopper a military [[Hunter]] will appear and attack you with it’s [[Minigun]]. Shoot the Hunter until it goes down, once it's out get to the front of the yacht and blow up the boats blocking the yacht's way.

* The French Secret Service that attack the player, Cortez, his yacht, and his men are that same model as a pedestrian that is seen throughout the city.
* Cortez' Speeder is shows as having a red primary body color when being lowered in the sea, but the Speeder the player is in after the mission is white like all other Speeders.
* Even if you already have a melee weapon, a [[Katana]] will replace it.
* This is the first time that Tommy Vercetti speaks Spanish.
* Two uniquely black [[Washington]]s may be seen driven by the French Secret Service. While it is possible to reach the cars and enter them, it is impossible to drive them during the mission (as the mission immediately ends and the car is lost). It is possible to push the cars to where the missions would start as an alternative, but the player is only given a brief window of time before Juan Cortez is killed, leading to mission failure which warps the player back to the nearby mission trigger with the cars waiting there.
** As these Washingtons are a unique black color (which can otherwise be obtained by modifying the [[carcols.dat]] file to make the Washington have a selectable black color), they may be confused with the similarly colored [[FBI Washington]].
