He is seen in many acts but fails each stunt as he gets either seriously injured or apparently killed like getting stabbed inside the black box and set on fire by Laurel, shot through the head by a [[Pistol]], his left hand nearly severed with a guillotine, and cut in half by a table saw. He claims he was distracted by the thought of "that filthy stagehand [his assistant was] trolloping with." Laurel isn't immune to mishaps, as she is apparently injured, possibly rendered paralyzed (or so Kleinman says), after a levitation stunt goes wrong in one performance, and she gets stabbed in the shoulder by a throwing knife in another.

His "cheating death" acts did not go very well as the audience becomes frightened. It is unknown how he keeps performing acts even after fatal accidents, or how his assistant does after she was paralyzed. Although it is possible that the reoccurring injuries are actually part of their act, or that they've just been miraculously mended.

|'''Bluesy St. John'''
|'''Bluesy St. John'''
|Southern blues singer who sings about being abused as a child, pursuing a sex change, losing her baby child to aliens, and a variety of other personal problems, with some of her songs being quite brief and preceded by long rambling monologues. Though it is not much of an entertainment, many audience members finds this female singer amusing and quite attractive. During her shows, she implies that she is drunk/drugged while on stage, and it should be noted that most of her songs are obviously fictitious (even in the GTA universe). Once she goes to scene, voice says: "What a fool!" in Russian, but subtitles says "You are welcome". Al is her personal piano player. Bluesy is voiced by [[Melody Sweets]], who is in real life a noted burlesque performer. Sweets is credited as a motion capture performer in the game, suggesting she may have performed the physical role of St. John as well as the voice.
