Armenia
Armenia, officially the Republic of Armenia (Armenian: Հայաստանի Հանրապետություն, Hayastani Hanrapetut’yun) is a nation located in the South Caucasus region of Eurasia with borders to Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, Kazakhstan and Turkey as well as one to the de facto independent state Nagorno-Karabakh,. Armenia declared its independence from the Soviet Union on August 23, 1990, which was recognised on September 21, 1991 and finalised on December 21, 1991.
