Infernus: Difference between revisions

In [[Grand Theft Auto III]] and [[Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories]], it resembles a [[wp:Vector M12|Vector M12]] with the rear incorporating elements of a [[wp:Lamborghini Diablo|Lamborghini Diablo]]. In [[Grand Theft Auto: Vice City]] and [[Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories]], it closely resembles a [[wp:Lamborghini Countach|Lamborghini Countach]], but lacks the characteristic scissor doors, and features bulging headlights and round taillights. In [[Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas]], it resembles a [[wp:Honda NSX|Honda/Acura NSX]], most likely the Acura model because it was exported in North America. Although it seems to be mid-engined, the engine of pre-GTA IV renditions are visible under the front hood, possibly due to limitations of the GTA III and GTA Vice City game engines. The GTA San Andreas rendition of the Infernus can be modded in any [[TransFender]] branch throughout the whole [[State of San Andreas]]. The GTA III and GTA Liberty City Stories renditions as well as the GTA San Andreas rendition evidently feature the engine at the front, but the GTA Vice City and GTA Vice City Stories renditions repositions the engine to the back (as the front compartment is revealed to be the trunk). However, the GTA Vice City Infernus still emits smoke from the front if moderately damaged.

The [[Grand Theft Auto IV]] rendition is an amalgamation of the [[wp:Lamborghini Murciélago|Lamborghini Murciélago LP640]], with the body shape of the [[wp:Lamborghini Diablo|Lamborghini Diablo SV]], and the rear end obviously inspired by the [[wp:Pagani Zonda|Pagani Zonda]]; the car also features scissor doors, the only car in the game with such doors. You obtain the Infernus from [[Bernie Crane]], after completing all of his missions; it's the only modded version in the game. It sports a stripe on the sideskirt, black sports rims, and a one-of-a-kind bright orange paint job which will not appear anywhere else in the game.
