The '''Liberty City Subway''' System is a heavy rail rapid transit system that serves a large portion of [[Liberty City in GTA IV|Liberty City]]. With 26 stops and 8 routes, it is largest and most complex rapid transit system in the GTA Universe. The main operator and maintance company of the subway is the Liberty City Transport Authority. The subway trains are heavily graffitied with black and white cameras so you can veiw the player. As their is no way for the ticket machines to be used the subway is completly free. Subway lines can be seen on your mini map as faint gray lines and the stations are squares. Subway staions in algonquin are underground and can be found by looking for steps with black fences around them. Staions in [[broker]] and [[bohan]] are overground.The subway is a good way to escape from the police beacuse they are confused by you going through buildings; use of the subway stops at a three-star wanted level. If you can get a car onto the tracks then it is a quick way to get around. You can a car on to the tracks by driving through hove beach station (steps may prove hard for slow vehicles) another way is at Frankfort High Station where the tracks go underground their is a gap in the wall, how ever the car may turn over due to the long drop. The lines can be accessed via the matinence platform near the grand easton terminal just look for the small box building near the terminal building . Tramps can be found in the changeover sections. One station is closed due to matinence on a non completed branch line from the broker line, the station is called Dukes Blvd
