:Ahh, I forgot to comment on this... my apology for belated comment on this... but regardless, I'm inclined to agree with your proposal. I believe each renditions, even an original Grand Theft Auto rendition, would surely have enough to make for good-sized article or however we call that. But I would also recommend to have this page retains summaries for each of those rendition with links to full article on them instead of simply turning it into a disambiguation page. Otherwise, I'm all for it. --[[User:Chief of Staff|Legion]] 05:41, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

== Link in the way ==
Shouldnt that link to wikipedia New York just say New York City and have the Wikipedia bit hidden in the background, it doesn't read right the way it is

:'Tis fixed!  Check the code...if you see anything like that, the trick is to add what you want to appear in the link ''after'' a "|", and the link itself before it.  For example, I would point to [[User talk:Eganio|my talk page]] thusly, so it's not cumbersome within text, as it would be if I simply included just the link, like this: [[User talk:Eganio]].  To do that, I used the following code:
:<code><nowiki>[[User talk:Eganio|my talk page]]</nowiki></code>
:Hope that helps! '''[[User:Eganio|Eganio]]''[[User talk:Eganio|Talk]]''''' 09:19, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
::I didn't have this page watched so I didn't see your reply. Yes, that post was early on in my wiki experience, I learnt how to do that a long time ago. LOL!'''[[user:Biggest gta fan ever|Biggest GTA Fan Ever]]''[[user talk:Biggest gta fan ever|Talk]]''''' 06:29, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
== Disambig ==
I was thinking that this page could be given a disambig tag. My reasoning is because most of the time we would want to direct links past here not link to here (a mistake I see too often). If it was a disambig, those pages could be seen [http://gta.wikia.com/index.php?title=Special:Disambiguations&limit=500&offset=0 here] so that users can fix the problem easily. On occasions, we would link here, to show '''all''' the [[Liberty City|renditions]] (like that, say on the [[Liberty City in GTA IV|GTA IV Liberty City page]]), However, usually we would want to direct past it, (eg. Linking [[Algonquin]] to [[Liberty City in GTA IV]] where it belongs). Thoughts? ==Redirections==
How are [[Trenton]] and [[Portland View]] redirected here? Please explain. I'm kind of annoyed that I don't get any information about these two districts in [[Portland|Portland Island]]. Thank you. [[User:Masterpogihaha|Masterpogihaha]] 14:14, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

{{quote|We've always tended to begin GTA on any platform in Liberty City and could not see any reason to change for this game!<br />Gordon Hall}}
This makes so much sense. I can't believe I haven't thought of that before. The only exception was GTA 2 on the Dreamcast.--'''[[User:Spaceeinstein|spaceeinstein]]''' 02:05, 6 November 2011 (GMT)
