'''Test Drive''' is a playably voluntary but canonically mandatory storyline mission in [[Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas]] given to [[protagonist]] [[Carl Johnson|Carl "CJ" Johnson]] by Mexican-American [[Varrios Los Aztecas]] gang leader [[Cesar Vialpando]] from [[Doherty Garage|Carl's garage]] in the [[Doherty]] district of [[San Fierro]], [[San Andreas in GTA III Era|San Andreas]].

== Mission ==

Cesar has found two more cars on the wishlist. He suggests that he and Carl go to an [[Otto's Autos|automobile showroom]] across town.

Carl drives the two of them to Otto's Autos in [[Downtown San Fierro|Downtown]]. On the way, Cesar tells him that he, along with [[Kendl Johnson|Kendl]], enjoys the ambience of San Fierro, and that it has "something gentle about it". He also asks him stuff about [[The Truth]], with Carl responding that though he may be weird, his sayings may be somehow true.

They eventually arrive at Otto's Autos. They go to the second floor, and are greeted by a dealer. He does them a favor of leaving them alone, while the two steal a [[Sultan]] and an [[Elegy]]. Carl follows Cesar throughout the city, all while being [[Wanted Level in GTA III Era|chased]] by the [[San Fierro Police Department|cops]]. After a lengthy ride, they make it back to the garage in Doherty.

*Since there is a post-mission phone call after he performs a task for [[Mike Toreno|a mysterious entity who turns out to be undercover government agent Michael "Mike" Toreno, fully alive despite an attempt on his life]], in which Carl is asked to return, it makes sense for Carl to alternate between the ranch and the [[Doherty Garage]], so that there is also ample time to finish any other missions. Hence, the correct order of playing the [[Tierra Robada]] and [[Wang Cars]] mission strands would be:-
