Master Data is a mission in Grand Theft Auto Online given to the protagonist of GTA Online by garment factory owner Lester Crest. The player must have reached rank sixteen and downloaded the High Life Update to unlock the mission, which can be played by one to four players.

Mission

The protagonist(s), with their instructions to steal a mobile data center, head to a storage facility in Banning. Upon arrival, they are confronted by the Triads who are all killed. The black truck being used to harvest the data is located and a Phantom with a RON oil tanker attached is moved out of the way. Upon entering the vehicle and driving towards the street, another vehicle carrying Triads will arrive. The vehicle can be destroyed or lost while being driven to Lester Crests warehouse in Murrieta Heights. Two more vehicles will begin to chase the truck as it drives through Davis and can also be destroyed/lost. The mission is completed when the truck is delivered and any pursuing Triads are lost or killed.

Lester Crest: There's a mobile data center disguised as a black truck pulling private information out the air. Why do you care about this? Because it's creepy! You're going to put the truck in the heads of a man who only wants to make money off it - me. Not creepy at all. Oh, and watch out, it'll be protected.

Lester Crest: So you're looking for a black truck. Hurry, they're not stupid, they'll have backup on the way.

Reward

The mission will reward the player with 15 JP. The monetary and RP rewards will vary depending on the difficulty of the mission and the time taken to complete the mission.
