Vending Machines in GTA IV.

Vending Machines are one of the many ways that the player can restore their health. Interactive vending machines are found in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto IV. They come in two forms: Snack vending machines and Drink Vending Machines.

Getting a drink or a snack from a vending machine costs $1.

Snack vending machine

GTA San Andreas

The player can use snack vending machines to restore health. CJ will pick up a bag of chips and start eating. If the player approaches a vending machine a message will appear at the top of the screen saying "Buy a snack, $1". If the player chooses to buy a snack their health will be returned to the maximum limit.

Locations

GTA IV

Although the snack vending machines do appear in Grand Theft Auto IV they are solid and the player cannot interact with these in any manner.

Drink vending machines

GTA San Andreas

The player can walk up to a Sprunk vending machine to restore their health. CJ will pick up the can and drink it before throwing it on the ground. Sprunk costs $1.

Locations

GTA Vice City Stories

The ECola Vending Machine appears in GTA Vice City Stories but can't be used.

GTA IV

The player can also restore their health by feeding this machine $1. It features a Sprunk Vending machine as well as an ECola vending machine. Niko will pick up the can, drink it then throw it on the ground.
