:(sorry for interrupting) The red links at the bottom of articles were interwiki links, which back on Wikia, linked to the same article on other language sites. As GTW is [[Project:Languages|currently unavailable in other languages]], these links became broken. However, that should now be fixed. | |||
:As for images, as Gboyers has said, not all images were successfully copied over in the move, and we could use all the help that we can get to finish the job. To fix this, simply click the red link, which should take you to an upload form. Copy the last part of the URL, after <tt>DestFile=</tt> (which should be the name of the image), open a new tab and type <tt><span style="color:blue">gta.wikia.com/File:</span></tt> and then paste in the last part (so for [[:File:Hom_License_Plate.jpg|this image]], which I just did, it would be <span class="plainlinks">[http://gta.wikia.com/File:Hom_License_Plate.jpg gta.wikia.com/File:Hom_License_Plate.jpg]</span>). Once you're on that page, click the image to go the the full resolution version, and save it to your computer (right click on the image, and choose something along the lines of ''Save image as'', depending on your browser). Then go back to the upload form in the other tab, and choose the file from your computer. Then, without filling in any of the other information, scroll down, click the check box for ''Ignore any warnings'' (the warning would be that the file description page already exists), and hit upload. I know that sounds like alot of work, but that's just because I did I really bad job of explaining it =] -it's really quite easy. | |||
:You mentioned that Wikia's copy still gets alot of traffic. I strongly believe that this is the legitimate copy of GTW, and that it's also the higher quality version.
