:I marked it patrolled because I think those links are fine. For example, I added Wikipedia links to NYC locations in the [[Liberty City in GTA IV]] article. I've always found external links good for any "is based on" for pages like places, weapons, etc. Of course, Gboyers can probably give you some "official" guidelines.
