The '''4x4''', spelled as '''4 x 4''' in-game, is a vehicle in [[Grand Theft Auto 1]] that appears in [[Liberty City in GTA 1|Liberty City]], [[San Andreas in GTA 1|San Andreas]] and [[Vice City in GTA 1|Vice City]], which resembles the [[:wp:Jeep Wrangler |Jeep Wrangler]]. It has no roof, and the drivers tend to play loud music, which can be heard when it drives past. It is most likely the predecessor of the [[Mesa Grande]]/Mesa in [[Grand Theft Auto: Vice City]] and [[Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas]]. It has reasonable durability, but like all vehicles in the game, it has the tendency to blow up after a hard landing. It is the first vehicle available to the player in San Andreas' first level.
