It is confirmed that GTA Online will be free and launch on October 1, 2013 and will feature over 700 missions, allowing the player to obtain money (having started with none) and reputation points. If killed the opposing player can steal your wallet, insurance can be taken out against vehicles, there will be lots of property to purchase, new locations will appear in the future, players can create missions through the [[Rockstar Games Social Club]] and a "passive mode" will allow for free roam without being killed.
