Bigfoot

Bigfoot (or Sasquatch) is a mythical ape-like creature claimed to have been spotted around North America, and similar creatures in other locations around the world, such as the Yeti. However, with no irrefutable proof, most experts on the matter consider the Bigfoot legend to be a combination of folklore and hoaxes.
The existence of Bigfoot in GTA San Andreas has been the centre of many Internet-based rumours since the game was released. It is impossible now to tell where the idea has originated from first, although one theory suggests that this is because of the artist Bigfoot mentioned in the brochure that came with the game.
The whole idea of bigfoot's existence fits nicely into the diverse world of the San Andreas countryside, especially its Flint County and Whetstone areas, with large virgine forests and "scary" locations. The most popular places, where people have claimed they have seen Bigfoot are mountain Chiliad cave and the Shady cabin area nearby.
Several screenshots and videos have been posted claiming to show the creature in the game, but they have been classed as hoaxes - either genuine in-game captures of unofficial modifications or edited (photoshopped) images and videos.
No evidence of the existence of Bigfoot in an unmodified version of GTA: SA has been found, so most people do not believe the rumours. However, there is a small but vocal group of supporters of the creature's existence. In the official interview with Terry Donovan released in 2005, he stated "there is no bigfoot, just like in real life." Many people take this as a hint, and look for sasquatch, piggsy and other similar creatures in the San Andreas countryside.
