Iran
Iran, also known as Persia and officially called the Islamic Republic of Iran since 1980, is a country in western Asia with borders to Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Pakitstan, Russia (across the Caspian Sea), Turkey and Turkmenistan, with the Gulf of Oman and the Persian Gulf located on its southern border. Iran was ruled by the Pahlavi dynasty before the Iranian Revolution, which saw Ruhollah Khomeini become Iran's Supreme Leader. The capital of Iran is Tehran.

The Annuaki were a group of deities in ancient Mesopotamia, which was centered around modern-day Iraq with areas of modern-day Iran, Kuwait, Syria and Turkey. The Annuaki , however, may also be a reference to a group of angels in the 2002 role playing game Demon: The Fallen released by White Wolf Publishing.
