The Annis Pinnacle is a 4-door sedan in Grand Theft Auto IV.

Description

Design

The Pinnacle is based on the sixth generation Nissan Maxima. The back end looks similar to a Ford Five Hundred, as does the front end, albeit with differently-shaped headlights. The area around the back license plate is arranged similarly to those on many older Infiniti's and Mitsubishi's. The name "Pinnacle" may be a play on "Maxima", as both of the names suggest an uppermost extreme.

Performance

Although the Pinnacle has the same engine sound as the Feltzer, it employs a less powerful 3.5L V6 engine, coupled to a 5 speed gearbox in a RWD layout. The engine pulls strongly, launching the vehicle off the line quickly and giving it an acceptable top speed of 290 km/h (180 mph).

Braking is adequate but not great, often requiring great distances to come to a complete halt if it isn't equipped with ABS. The suspension is firm, but due to its shallow maximum wheel angle, the Pinnacle corners very poorly even at slow speeds. Crash deformation is poor, causing the front tire rods to fail after only a few frontal impacts; engine build quality is also poor, with the Pinnacle failing after only a few minor collisions.

Locations

The car can be spotted in northern Alderney, but may also spawn in BOABO, Broker and Varsity Heights, Algonquin.

Trivia

  • The two default radio stations in the Pinnacle are The Beat 102.7 and The Classics 104.1 in GTA IV.
  • A Pinnacle in pristine condition sells for $2,000 at S&M Auto Sales in GTA IV after completion of Stevie's Car Thefts.
  • The fog lights on the car appears to turn on when the engine is started, however they stay on regardless if it is day or night. The same applies to the Perennial.
