Roy Lowenstein set up the Lowenstein Pictures film production company in the 1920s, which later became 'a production line for insipid family-friendly entertainment' despite Lowenstein's 'vicious mistreatment' of his wives and children. Lowenstein was later given a star on the Vinewood Walk of Fame and had a boulevard named after him in Los Santos. In 2013, Lowenstein Pictures closed down.
