Senegal
Senegal, officially the Republic of Senegal, is a country in west Africa, which has borders to The Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Mauritania and the Atlantic Ocean. Senegal gained its independence from France on June 20, 1960 and withdrew from the Mali Federation on August 20, 1960. The Senegalese capital is Dakar.
