Georgia

Georgia is a country located in the Caucasus region of Eurasia between Western Asia and Eastern Europe. It has borders with Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia and Turkey as well as the Black Sea. Georgia became part of the Soviet Union on February 25, 1921 and declared its independence on April 9, 1991 although this was not finalised until the collapse of the Soviet Union on December 25, 1991. The capital of Georgia is Tbilisi and the currency is the Lari.
