Chesti-Kov is a character in the 2D Universe who is mentioned on the official Grand Theft Auto 2 website.
Character history
Chesti-Kov was born on April 11, 1949 in Georgia, which was part of the Soviet Union, and later became a member of the Russian Mafia. He, at some point before the events of GTA 2, had lost both legs to the hip. He earned a significant criminal record in Russia for extortion, racketeering and prostitution as well being imprisoned between 1975 and 1988 for the theft of two hundred million barrels of oil from Siberia. He also has prison tattoos on both arms as well as numerous scars on his back, which are believed to have been caused by being lashed. Despite losing both legs he remains active in the gang, usually planning their activities from his house overlooking the docks, and is known by others either as "The Cripple" or "The Old Man". He is accompanied by numerous bodyguards, suggesting his importance to the gang, and has two .44 Magnums strapped to his electric wheelchair for both protection and punishment killings. He later helps Claude Speed to destroy the Hare Krishna although the Hare Krishna continue with their activities afterwards.
