May-Beth-Lou-Sarah-Jane Hootie is a resident of the Residential District of Anywhere City, an associate of the Rednecks and the daughter of Pa Hootie. In October 1999, she sends an email to her father warning him of someone arriving in the city. She describes the person as "Worse than them Zaibatsu dolts, and with more book learnin' than them Scientists". The person she describes may be Claude Speed.
