Connie Lavell (daughter-in-law)
Huguette is a character in the 1933 film Harridan of the Seine and is presumably portrayed by Agnes Knight who received star crediting on the films poster. Her son, Bernard, moves to New York City where he meets and marries the 'beautiful and naive' Connie Lavell. The two later move to Paris, France where Connie is sold as a slave to her new mother-in-law. Huguette has Connie 'eat out of chamber pots and massage her calloused feet' until she is pushed off a bridge and killed by Connie. Her son Bernard is also killed when Connie stabs him in the neck while he is passed out.
