Fictional Artists

A fictional artist is an artist which doesn't exist in real world. Rockstar North have contrived many fictional artists for the GTA series.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Alpha Banditos

Alpha Banditos is one of the fictional artists that appears in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Their instrumental song "The Bull Is Wrong" is in the playlist of Radio Espantoso.

Love Fist

Love Fist is a Scottish rock band, and it's the most known fictional artist in the series. It is composed of four members: Jezz Torrent (Kevin McKidd), Willy (Mark Hanlon), Dick (Peter McKay) and Percy (Russell Foreman). Two of their songs "Dangerous Bastard" and "Fist Fury" appears on the V-Rock playlist and "Fist Till Morning" can be heard during the band's commercial. The song "Dangerous Bastard" is included on the official soundtrack CD. Their songs were written by Allan Walker, Paul Mackie, Trevor McDonald, Dr. Boogie and Craig Conner, and performed by musicians Andy Thomson, Mark Farquhar, Neil Mchaffie, Trevor McDonald and Paul Mackie.

Love Fist is still enjoyed in 2008 as they're band has posters around Liberty City still.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

Madd Dogg

Madd Dogg (Ice-T) is a successful rapper in San Andreas. His career suffers a decline after Carl Johnson steals his rhyme book and kills his manager, Alan Crawford, in an effort to jumpstart OG Loc's music career. Because of this, he gained a gambling addiction, lost his crib, fell into depression and attempted suicide. However Carl Johnson saved his life and became his new manager. None of his songs can be heard on Radio Los Santos.

Madd Dogg has had a successful rapping career releasing a number of Award winning albums. They are as follows:

Hustlin' Like Gangstaz (1990), Still Madd (1990), 24 Carat Dogg (1991) and Forty Dogg (1993).

After releasing these albums he retired and two of his albums were remastered in 1998 and 2003. Much like the person who does the voice over for him (Ice T).

In 2008 during the events of Grand Theft Auto IV people still seem to enjoy Madd Dogg's work, as his albums are in bars such as Comrades Bar, apartments, and safehouses.

OG Loc

Jeffrey "OG Loc" Cross (Jonathan Anderson) is a "gangster" rapper, and the main rival of Madd Dogg. Cross begins his rise to fame in the rap industry when Madd Dogg's career declines. Under the management of Big Smoke, Loc gets a contract and begins recording an album. However, Carl Johnson helps Madd Dogg get back on his feet and they chase Loc through the west part of Los Santos. After this Cross' career slowly gets worse, including the death of his manager Big Smoke, until he finishes his first album, Str8 From Tha Streetz, at the end of the story. One of his song can be heard during the mission House Party. He can also be heard on Radio Los Santos making an "announcement".

OG Loc's music is still around in 2008 during the events of Grand Theft Auto IV, as his albums are usually seen scattered around the city in the same areas as Madd Dogg's  albums.

Rochell'le, often derided as "The Cheerleader of Hip-Hop", the unapologetically blond and bubbly femme fatale' Rochell'le charmed the charts with her hits, "Dreamin'", "My Dream Came True," and "Dream Rap." It wasn't all tea parties and teddy bears, though, when her mettle was tested by The Real Rochelle's parody "Rochell'le, Rochell'le". Rochell'le's swift response, purportedly ghost-written by her purportedly then-boyfriend Madd Dogg, laid her challenger to rest.

The Gurning Chimps

The Gurning Chimps were a musical group featured in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Maccer is the only member of the group seen in the game. The manager (as of 1992) is Kent Paul, and the band is known to be active until at least 1998
