:RebutI'm pretty sure that's a vehicle gripe but, this is probably explained by the fact that the doors open like that because R* is trying to make the game more realistic. That is how most cardoors open.

:Rebut I always thought that cardoors in GTA SA were opened in a brute way, even when GTA IV didn't exist.

Gripe Street names aren't displayed on the in-game map, so when you're told to look for something on/near a certain street (as you often are), if you're not already familiar with the street name (and who does recognize more than a dozen or so street names, even after playing the game to completion?) there's no way to find out where it is except by driving on it. This is a shame, as street names would be even more useful as a navigational aid if you could read them on the map. I realise street names might clutter the map up, but if that really was a problem the street names could be an option you can toggle on or off (In GTA SA's in-game map, you could turn the various types of blips on or off if you wanted. For example, I turn off the gang territory overlay after I take all of the turf.).

::::Gripe I didn't know where the f***ing street was until I drove over it 15 minutes later and saw the name appear on the HUD, so how could I have marked it on the f***ing map? I don't think you understand, in the text message car missions, no marker is placed on the map showing you the location of your objective, you have to find it using Stevie's written directions which, more often than not, point you to a particular street in a particular neighborhood. It's not always hard to narrow it down if the street is in a small neighbourhood and there's not many to check, but other times it's unnecessarily frustrating trying to find a particular street, like the time I mentioned in Middle Park. The street I was looking for was actually three blocks from the park, how could I have known that? The bottom line is there's no good reason the in-game map shouldn't show street names (at least as an option), and at least one good reason why it should.

:Rebut GTA IV has a map with the street names. Why don't you use it?

GripeTarget focus (using B on X360 when chasing a target in a car) doesn't center the target onscreen, meaning weapons need to be manually aimed at the target, which is extremely hopeless (especially if they go round a corner).

:Rebut Time's your problem? Get in front of the cab, call LJ for the mission. Hail the cab and go to Homebrew Cafe (because of the stash in the car). When you exit the cab, Hail it again. Get in the car. If it's timed, get out and use the cab (remember to skip). I did the 10 missions in half-hour

GripeR* released the episodic game The Lost and Damned, but what they did'nt realized is that they excluded the PS3 version, making it only for the 360, leaving the PS3 fans angry, disappointed and unhappy.

gripe this is a glitch, if you spray you're infernus to many times it will stick to green and won't change. but yes there aren't that many colours.

Gripe In the mission Three Leaf Clover, after exiting the subway tunnel, Packie just wouldn't get into the car I was driving. I pulled up right next to him, and he just stood there doing nothing while I got pelted with bullets. I drove around a couple of blocks, came back and tried it again, and still had the same thing. Eventually the car got blown up and I got shot as I jumped out. Exited the tunnel with full health and a little bit of armor, ended up dying trying to get the guy into the car.

:Rebut Are you absolutely sure you took 4-seat car and not a 2-seat car? It's not only Packie you have to pick up, it's also his brother Derrick. Therefore of course if you took a 2-seat car Packie wouldn't get in. Otherwise it's just a glitch, no game is perfect.

:Gripe What happened to me: When I exited, there was a Huntley Sport in front of me. I got in, Derrick too. Packie didn't pass beyond the door. I died and since the game hasn't got a checkpoint system, I had to do everything again.

GripeYou cannot earn extra money by performing distances such as wheelies, stoppies, even driving on two wheels from any side. Also, you can't earn money by successfully earning the "UNIQUE STUNT JUMP BONUS" after launching off a unique jump and then successfully landing. What a sad attempt by Rockstar games.

GripeNiko should be able to buy food from stores and eat them at home. It's annoying when you're low on health, dont feel like spending $1000 on the 911 call, or going to a food place to regain health. And no, I dont want to use codes. It's annoying. I want to be able to go in the safehouse, going in the fridge, getting some food and have my health back to 100%

:::Rebut Natural disasters in a mid city scene... I don't know. 2008 already happened and we know that nothing happen in New York City at that time. And tidal waves? The game would have to be on a quadruple-Bluray disc for the game to fit. And for what? For a feature that doesn't affect gameplay and barely touches realism. Tornadoes, maybe. Floods, sure. Everything else, just weird.

Gripe When you're on a tailing mission, the AI stupidly complains (or just screws you over) when you're too close to the target car even when you SHOULD be that close (eg. stopping at traffic lights). Personally I think it looks even more suspicious (not to mention ridiculous) if you're waiting 5 car lengths away from the target with nothing in between; when an ordinary driver would never do that. By right, you'd be attracting even more attention than if you just waited directly behind him at a traffic junction. I can't believe this hasn't been griped about yet.

:Gripe I feel so sorry for you. Rockstar should really consider the whole population when creating a game, and so should other game developers. Forget about getting 100% - just have fun with what you can do.

::Rebut If they consider the "Whole" population then they would have to make the game beatable by people who have no hands, or are blind, or have down syndrome.

:Rebut For what? Do you mean missions? If so, I agree, GTA IV's lack of mission checkpoints was annoying, though it made you really not want to fail the mission. I know that there are checkpoints in TBOGT, but I'm not sure about TLAD.

:Rebut Perhaps Whiz/Badger splurged on installing signal relays in the subway tunnels and the Booth Tunnel. They wouldn't need to be very strong, just enough to get the signal through a relatively unobstructed environment. They have the technology, with today's 3G networks, to use a wireless router to relay the cell network. Be glad you aren't trying to connect to a 3G network in LC, though. If it's anything like NYC, you aren't connecting to it. It would be overloaded with people, and wouldn't be able to handle more people (kindof like the 3G networks in NYC, or at least what they were like at one time).
