Paradoxes are what happen when a player creates an unbalanced timeline in the storyline of the Grand Theft Auto series, especially related to killing characters. (Referred to as the "Grandfather Paradox") Most are to be considered non-canonical. An example of a paradox is killing Luis Lopez in Three Leaf Clover and killing Patrick McReary and Niko Bellic in Ladies Half price.
