Heads-Up Display
A Heads-up display, often abbreviated as HUD, is a set of indicators used to show the player's current status in the game, such as the score, health/armor points, and the like. Most games, especially the Grand Theft Auto series, uses this system.
The HUD in Grand Theft Auto may display the following information:
- Money
- Weapons selected
- Health/armor points
- Respect level (GTA 2)
- Skills (GTA San Andreas)
- Radar
- Wanted level
