The Hydra is GTA equivalent of the Harrier JumpJet. It is one of the newest vehicles in San Andreas in comparison with Vice City and other earlier games. While in earlier games, mods where available in order to put fighter planes into the game this is the first aircraft of this type to come as standard. It is available from the aircraft carrier in San Fierro and from the airstrip on the outskirts of Las Venturas.
