Home Invasion is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas given to protagonist Carl "CJ" Johnson by high-ranking Grove Street Families gangster Lance "Ryder" Wilson from his house on Grove Street in Ganton, Los Santos.

Note. This mission can only be started between 12:00 and 20:00.

Mission

The mission begins with Ryder asking Carl to help him get some gun crates from a war veteran. The mission takes place in the night time in order to get his weapons without waking the veteran up.

Ryder and Carl arrive in the house where Carl has to sneak into the house to get the weapons. After getting three crates, the two go to a lock-up so they unload the truck. In this mission Carl must remain silent once inside the house and if he makes too much noise the veteran thinks he is having a nightmare. If this happens twice he'll wake up and call the police.

Script

(Ryder is digging holes in his backyard when Carl arrives.)

Ryder: Damn! Where the fuck...?

CJ: Man, what you doing? Digging graves?

Ryder: Damn, where the fuck I put it man?

CJ: Put what nigga?

Ryder: Man, the fucking water! (gives up and rises) Need a little something before I deal with things!

Ryder: My homie, LB - he told me about this army motherfucker who's got all the guns we need. Not that old school Emmet bullshit either!

CJ: I'm down. Let's roll.

Ryder: (starts searching again) Yeah, you always down, homie. Apart from when you ain't around here.

CJ: Nigga, fuck you.

Ryder: (gets up and starts walking with a joint) Damn! Man, you want some of this?

CJ: No, man - I'm cool on that. Where we going?

Ryder This till overlooking East Beach. Better yet, we wait until it's dark. Catch the motherfucker while he in bed.

CJ: Yeah, I'm feeling that.

Ryder: Yeah, yeah, (starts digging again) that's it, that's it... C'mon nigga, what you waiting for? Look!

CJ: Let it go!

(Ryder and Carl enter a Boxville truck.)

Ryder: Get in fool!

(Carl and Ryder drive to East Beach.)

Ryder: Where is this old motherfucker? Where in hell is he?

CJ: Relax, man. We ain't there yet.

Ryder: Yeah, right, Carl. You always right. That's my homie. Mr. Right.

CJ: Shut up.

Ryder: You can't stop me.

CJ: Who can't?

Ryder: Whatever.

(Ryder and Carl arrive at the house of olden Vietnamese war veteran Colonel Fuhrberger in East Beach.)

Ryder: Let's storm the place.

CJ: Hold up. Let's creep in, grab the guns, then bounce out.

Ryder: Yeah, yeah I got it - ninja style! Right... (echoes a shout) COME OUT YOU OLD BASTARD!

CJ: Shut up!

Ryder: He can't stop me, you buster, Carl! OK, fool, in you go - I'll keep watch.

(Carl enter the house. He sneaks in and gets the crates of guns. He takes the crates back to the truck.)

Ryder: (Carl brings the first crate) Keep it coming, CJ! (Carl brings the second crate) What I tell y'all? We making a killing! (Carl brings the third crate) You're a natural house-breaker, homie! (if Carl brings another crate) There's plenty more in there, homie. ('if Carl brings another crate) Take him for everything you get!

Colonel Fuhrberger: (if Carl makes a noise) Get off my ridge, you Viet Cong bastards! (if Carl makes a noise again) Thieving commie bastards! Get off my ridge, you Viet Cong bastards!

(Carl enters the truck after taking three crates.)

CJ: Let's get up outta here!

(Carl gets enough guns, but Colonel Fuhrburger is woken up.)

Ryder: That pussy called the cops, I'm a smokin'.

CJ: Let's just get this stuff outta here. You dumb bastard shermhead.

(Carl and Ryder lose the heat, if any, and head to the lockup in Willowfield.)

Ryder: A'ight, now we straight. LB's got a storage down on Seville Boulevard Famillies' turf we can use.

CJ: I'm on it! Seriously, Ryder-man, you gotta give up them sticks.

Ryder: What? I'll give up the water if you give up being a busta.

CJ: Hold it right there, homie!

Ryder: Buster!

CJ: Forget it.

Ryder: Forget you, fool!

CJ: One day, you're gonna wish you hadn't piss me off!

Ryder: Did I hear something? Sounds like the busta complaining again!

CJ: Man, this is childlish.

Ryder: Man, i ain't talking you to no more fool.

(Carl and Ryder arrive at the garage.)

Ryder: You see I told you, simple.

CJ: Yeah that was a real breeze.

Ryder: Say CJ, you gotta get it in your head that this is everyday shit homie.

(The player is told that one can perform bulgaries at night.)

CJ: Ok look, I'm tired I'll see you later.

Ryder: A'ight holmes, just think about what I said. (leaves)

Trivia

  • When Carl and Ryder are driving the van to the lock up, Carl tells Ryder that he's only wishful Ryder never ran him off his mind. This foreshadows the events of Ryder's death at Carl's hands for betraying the Grove Street Families.
  • It is very difficult to lose heat successfully in the Pay 'n' Spray in Idlewood, as in most cases, biker cops giving chase will continuously shoot the rather sensitive Boxville, causing it to explode, which will fail the mission.
