Gustavo "Gus" Mota is a character in the HD Universe who appears as a minor character in Grand Theft Auto Online and as a possible heist crew member Grand Theft Auto V. Mota is voiced by Reza Salazar.
Character history
Gustavo Mota is, in 2013, a former member of the Los Santos Vagos and an experienced gunman. His first major heist was hitting a security truck with some other members and making away with two hundred grand total, most of which went to the gang itself. With his share of the money however, Mota was able to leave the gangbanger lifestyle and become an independent criminal. At some point prior to the events of the game, Mota is arrested for unknown reasons.
In Grand Theft Auto Online Lester Crest employes the GTA Online protagonist to intercept a prison bus transferring Mota from Paleto Bay to Bolingbroke Penitentiary. The protagonist(s) is (are) successful and bring Mota back to Lester's warehouse in Murrieta Heights. Later in the year, during the events of Grand Theft Auto V, Mota can be employed by Michael De Santa for four of the storyline's heists. As experienced gunmen, Mota will always survive each variation of each heist.
