Hotring: Difference between revisions

'''Hotring''' is one of the three events that takes place at [[Hyman Memorial Stadium]] in ''[[Grand Theft Auto: Vice City]]''. In this mission, [[Tommy Vercetti|Tommy]] drives a [[Hotring Racer]] and must complete the race, coming 1st, 2nd or 3rd. There is a pit for fixing a damaged car, and trying to explode the other cars doesn't work, as they just respawn. Destroying a rival car will get the player more time ahead of the others though, as long as it doesn't blow up right beside the player's vehicle. The player must come in 1st place if [[100% Completion in GTA Vice City|100%]] is the player's goal.

The player can cheat the race by eliminating the competition. Normally, when the player destroys an opponent's vehicle, the opponent will respawn in a dark area right next to the exit. Park your car in the corner of that area and destroy the opponents. Since your car is blocking the spawn point, the opponents' cars cannot spawn properly. After eliminating everyone, the player can race without competition.
