One thing I loved about GTA V was the removal of the "come back here between yada and yada" notice when you tried triggering a mission and it wasn't the right "time" for that to take place. The time lapse effect was warmly appreciated, getting rid of any confusion if the time of day was suddenly shifted hours ahead.
