While collecting them, the player's lung capacity improves and makes it easier to collect oysters deeper in the water without losing health or risking death. Collecting all 50 is required for 100% and the reward for this, gives [[Carl Johnson]] full [[Sex Appeal]], thus he can date any of his [[Girlfriends in GTA San Andreas|girlfriends]] despite his appearance.
