In The Beginning... is the name of the opening sequence (cutscene and mission) in each of the GTA III Era games. However, although the missions name in the code of GTA III was "In The Beginning...", it was shown as "Give Me Liberty..." in-game. No other game has had a name appear for it's first mission.
