Slamvan: Difference between revisions

Despite the namesake, the Slamvan is a different vehicle and no longer resembles a heavily customized pick-up as it did in GTA San Andreas. It now resembles a 1950s panel van, similar to a 1953–1956 Ford F-Series van. The van's appearance also bears striking similarities to the one used by the gang the Rogues in the 1970s cult film [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Warriors_(film) The Warriors]. Rockstar made a beat 'em up action game in 2005 based on the same movie, simply titled [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Warriors_(video_game) The Warriors]. It's likely this is where the inspiration for the appearance was drawn from.
