Grove Street Families
The Grove Street Families are collectively an African-American street gang in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. They don't believe in drug trafficking on the streets of Los Santos. The leader is Sweet, a naive but powerful leader who tries to get CJ, the game's protagonist, back on the right track.
Before the rival Ballas came along, the GSF was the strongest family in Los Santos. Now, they are weak and impotent and a few of their gang members have defected to the Ballas. Sweet is arrested by the game's main antagonist Officer Tenpenny, but CJ eventually reunites the family with the assistance of Mike Toreno, and eventually returns the GSF to become the main power in Los Santos.
GSF members listen to Radio Los Santos and wear green at all times. There are three GSF homies that you can recruit: one is wearing a green basketball t-shirt and a baseball cap; one is wearing a dark green shirt and has dreadlocks; and the last one is obese with a green bandanna.
